Obituary of Hubert Leslie Guy

Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2024 at the age of 90.

Dear father of daughters Cindy Foster (Steve) and Liz Frey (Terry), grandchildren Laura Foster (Don Perreault) and their son Jack, Jennifer Foster, Craig Foster (Emily Pearson) and their children Liam and Maggie, Stacey Frey (Johnathan Majik) and their sons Ethan and Benjamin, and Cass Frey (Aylssa Pasek). He is also survived by his brother Geoff Guy, sister-in-law Mary Guy, and many nieces and nephews.

Hubert was predeceased by his parents Leslie and Gladys (nee Thurber) Guy, and his siblings Joyce Gagnon (Roger), Mildred Gardiner (Harry), Doreen Guy, and Sid Guy.

Hubert owned and operated his own drapery installation business for many years. He enjoyed lots of outdoor activities, including golf, hiking, cross-country skiing, badminton, and table tennis. He will be deeply missed.

Special thanks to Dr. Mather and all the staff at Columbia Forest LTC for the excellent care they provided to Dad over the last year.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
